I-CPIE created an internal working group with members from the I-CPIE Leadership Council. The working group developed a comprehensive I-CPIE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Plan, with sections on Vision, Commitment to Actions (which includes 5 specific goals, which are described in detail with metrics and goals for each metric), DEI Working Group, and Team Development Checklist (which describes a process to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion of I-CPIE research teams and outcomes). The DEI Plan was endorsed by the Leadership Council in May 2021.
