Proposal Development Services

Teaming

  • Help strategize team composition for multidisciplinary efforts (e.g., connect PI with potential Lehigh Co-PIs and provide support during external partner engagement).

Budgeting

  • Prepare templates.
  • Assist with creating an initial budget with rates and costs (input from research team required).
  • Assist with identifying cost share opportunities, as required by proposal guidelines.
  • Assist with development of partner cost share letter templates.

Management

  • Liaise and coordinate with ORSP.
  • Develop a checklist based on the requirements in the solicitation.
  • Create a proposal schedule and identify key milestones.
  • Attend team meetings, keep notes, and track action items.
  • Track status of all proposal components.
  • Set up a space for team collaboration (e.g., shared Google Drive).
  • Send reminders throughout the proposal lifecycle.
  • Coordinate team meeting logistics (e.g., scheduling and virtual meeting support).

Development

  • Customize templates in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or Overleaf.
  • Compile information for supplementary documentation, facilities descriptions, etc.

Review

  • Facilitate a red team review within the team.
  • Conduct a final copyedit of all proposal components.
  • Coordinate a compliance review with ORSP.

Delivery

  • Provide standby support to ORSP and the PI and relay information during proposal delivery.

  • Project management support (should be discussed during proposal development stage to determine if funding for this support is available in the project budget).

  • Website development and maintenance support (should be discussed during proposal development stage to determine if funding for this support is available in project budget).

  • Assistance with setting up reporting templates for project sponsor.

  • Coordinate team meeting logistics (e.g., scheduling and virtual meeting support).

  • Help with administrative support for workshops (dependent on funding availability).
